I don’t even know if there’s a neat way to describe it.
This season feels like standing in the middle of a storm — no clear direction, no footing, just wind and noise and questions that don’t seem to stop.
I’m questioning myself, my discernment, my decisions.
I’m questioning what I thought I knew about people — about trust, loyalty, calling, even God’s timing.
And in every part of me, this feels like absolute chaos.
When Everything You Built Starts to Shake
I’ve walked through hard things before. But this feels different.
This time, it’s not just circumstances changing — it’s me changing.
It’s the disorienting kind of transformation that makes you wonder who you even are without the roles, relationships, and rhythms that once defined you.
The ground beneath my feet feels unstable. The things I used to be sure of now feel blurred.
And yet, somewhere deep inside, I sense God whispering, “Don’t run from this. I’m rebuilding something you can’t see yet.”
That’s the hardest part — waiting for purpose to rise out of what feels like rubble.
The Loss Beneath the Chaos
Pain has a way of exposing what comfort hides.
I didn’t realize how much I anchored my peace in predictability — in the sense that if I worked hard enough, discerned well enough, or stayed faithful long enough, things would make sense.
But chaos laughs at formulas.
And when life stopped making sense, I was left staring at the raw ache of disillusionment — the kind that doesn’t just hurt your heart, but your identity.
I thought I knew people.
I thought I could trust what I discerned.
Now I’m realizing discernment doesn’t always protect you from heartbreak — sometimes it just helps you see the truth sooner.
What Chaos Reveals
In the middle of all this noise, I’m learning that chaos has its own kind of clarity.
It strips away illusions — of control, of certainty, of performance — and brings you face to face with what’s real.
I used to think peace meant everything around me was calm.
Now I’m learning that real peace is internal.
It’s the quiet voice that says, “Even here, you’re not alone.”
Maybe the chaos isn’t punishment. Maybe it’s invitation.
Maybe it’s the tearing down of what can’t hold the weight of who you’re becoming.
When You Can’t Fix It
There’s a part of me that still wants to organize this mess — to make a plan, to explain it, to rush past it.
But every time I try, I sense the Spirit saying, “Stop managing the storm. Let Me meet you in it.”
So I’m learning to sit in the middle of the unanswerable.
To let the questions hang in the air without forcing resolution.
To breathe, to cry, to rest, and to trust that clarity will come — not because I control it, but because God is faithful, even when I am confused.
What I’m Still Learning
This season is teaching me that chaos isn’t always the enemy.
Sometimes it’s the space where God rearranges the pieces of a life that was never meant to stay the same.
I don’t have all the answers — and maybe that’s the point.
Integrity, faith, and discernment are being refined here.
The noise may not be gone, but my dependency on Him is deeper than ever.
I’m learning that peace isn’t found after the storm.
It’s found in the surrender to it.
